Hi, I’m Melissa!
I have spent my entire life exploring the boundaries of science, ecopsychology, and spirituality. The more I learn, the more I appreciate how blurry those boundaries can become. Whether I’m working with children, families, adults, animals, plants, or the unseen energies of the natural world, I seek to use the power of ritual to enhance our sense of sacredness in everyday experience. In addition to leading rituals and offering workshops, I am co-creator of the Sacred Isle of Bees, a virtual school that teaches how to reconnect with the language of the earth through a year-long journey with bees.
I live in Western Massachusetts with my partner Jesse and a family full of non-humans, which currently includes two cats, four chickens, two goats, a ball python, thousands of honey bees, not to mention the birds, squirrels, bears, raccoons, skunks, rabbits and plant allies that live on the surrounding land, lovingly named DragonFly Hill. I write about DragonFly Hill and my interactions with the natural world at MelissaBeeNaturalMagic.com.
